About Me
Hi. My name is Chris Rohter. I live on Pleasant View Road in Arlington with my wife, six-year-old daughter, and two-year-old son. We've lived here since 2012, but I've been coming to this great place for my entire life. My grandmother grew up on Grandview, graduated from AHS and spent her final years in Arlington Center.
This is a very special town. Between our downtown and spaces like Menotomy Rocks Park, Arlington is at once urban, suburban, and downright rural. Our restaurants, cultural opportunities, schools and shops have made Arlington an in-demand town in Greater Boston.
And so it's no surprise that Arlington is appealing - and changing. Many things are getting better, but for some, Arlington isn't what it once was. Affordability is a real issue, and regulations designed for different times are making positive change a challenge.
I'm running to contribute to an Arlington that provides greater opportunities for kids like my own, while affording people like my grandmother the chance to continue living where home has always been: Arlington.
